Mulch and Soil

Fact: Decomposing mulch will draw nitrogen from the ground and could effect the health of plants.

Fiction: You do not need to use fabric under mulch, placing mulch on clean ground, and using a product like (PREEN) is sufficient.

Fact: You should replace mulch every few years.(pull our the old and replace with new)

Fact: Colored mulches will fade with time, but the colorant will not harm plants.

Fact: The greying effect is caused by the wood content in the mulch, colored or all bark products will last the longest.
